HEARTS & HANDS
& VOICES

Sunday, April 6: "Joy and Sorrow"
Join us at 3:00 p.m in the Downtown Site of
First English Lutheran Church in Appleton, WI.
Erich Knapp, Director of Congregational Worship and Music, will conduct the FELC Parish Choir, Bell Choir, music interns and members of the Fox Cities community in a concert of "Joy and Sadness." This benefit performance, part of The Arthur Krempin School's Sacra Musica series of choral masterworks, will feature works of Antonio Vivaldi and Eric Whitacre.
The program will include, among other selections, Vivaldi's joyous choral work, "Beatus Our" (Blessed is the One who Comes in the Name of the Lord) base on Psalm 111 along with the monumental work by Whitacre, "When David Heard." Eric Whitacre is a Grammy Award-winning composer and this recent choral work is considered one of the most dramatic ever written.
This concert series is free for all to attend or to enjoy live online. It is offered as a fund-raiser for The School's programs that give opportunities to children, especially to those who would not otherwise have them. Please mark your calendar now for this remarkable event.
