SUMMER INTERNS

Young adults engage children and youth of the community through music and art, leading programs that inspire

young and old alike.

Fall Event: “Missa Solennelle”

The Parish Choir of First English Lutheran Church and members of the community

will perform the choral masterwork, “Missa Solennelle” (Solemn Mass) in c-sharp minor, Op. 16 -- a work for choir and two organs by Louis Vierne -- on

Sunday, November 10th at 3:00 p.m.

This event is free for all to attend or enjoy online at FELC's Downtown Site at 326 E North Street in Appleton.  No registration or tickets are required.

Erich Knapp, FELC's Director of Congregational Worship and Music, will conduct the choir and organists Jeffrey Verkuilen of Green Bay and Frank Perko III of Denver.  In addition to Vierne's "Missa Solennelle," the musicians will also perform the Easter motet “Christ Rose from the Dead” by Charles-Marie Widor -- another work written for choir and two organs. Both are grand and beautiful. This may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear both of these works, as they were intended to be performed, in the same concert. Save the date, and bring a friend!

If you enjoy the Fox River Chamber Fest each summer,

come and explore the Sacra Musica performance this fall -- a program of

The Arthur Krempin School of Music & Art.
