While looking forward to this summer's Fox River Chamber Fest, we're excited to present a special spring performance by the Luminae Trio -- one you won't want to miss!  Please join us on Sunday, April 24 at 4PM in the Downtown Site sanctuary of First English Lutheran Church in Appleton.

This event marks a return home from NYC for Jestin Pieper. After growing up in the Fox Valley and graduating from Lawrence University, Jestin is now an accomplished pianist, organist, conductor and educator. Together with Elizabeth Wright (violin) and Jacob Nordlinger (cello), the Trio researches and performs traditional works as well as those by lesser-known composers, past and present.

Leading active teaching and performance careers, they have performed throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, South America and Asia. The Trio is the recipient of a 2021 City Artist Corps Grant and a prizewinner of the 2021 Lancaster Chamber Music Competition.

This event is free to all attendees; no tickets are required. The program, presented without intermission, will include:

  • Trio No. 1 Op. 32 by Lowell Liebermann

  • Piano Trio Op. 150 by Amy Beach

  • Piano Trio in D minor Op. 49 by Felix Mendelssohn

Donations received at this event for The Arthur Krempin School of Music & Art will be directed toward the purchase of another digital piano -- expanding its program of lessons for children who otherwise would not have the opportunity.

Enjoy this relaxed afternoon of great music and help bring joy to yet another child in our community. Hope to see you there!
